Robinson enlightened me on the importance of going back to re-read also study the Old Testament. However, through further study, I glean there is a hermeneutical side also a homiletical side that will help me improve my sermons bristle with accuracy, clarity, interest, also relevance. Preaching an Old Testament narrative is challenging due to the fact of misreading them (Scriptures), read them poorly, or read them to prove a point outside the purpose of the biblical storyteller. It’s been nearly 2 weeks now and his family hadn’t heard a word. Were they wrong? Did they not understand the situation? Was this person not as important as they had believed him to be? He was tired of waiting. They had practically destroyed his entire family. The start of the hostile takeover of his parents’ pharmaceutical company was vicious and was only the beginning and had yet to stop or slow down.
